The Congregation was founded in 1747 through the efforts of the two Pious sisters named AGATHA and BEATRICE BENVIGNATI with the intent of sharing the love of Christ to the Church by instructing the youth in the parish and a particular formation for the young ladies of the Diocese.

His Excellency Bishop Niccolo’ Reco, the founder, reviewed and approved the first Rules and Constitution of the Congregation on 10^th December 1747. In this occasion, the investiture of the first six Religious Sisters followed, obtaining to the beginning of the Institute as one Diocesan Right.

Two hundred years later on 10^th October 1947, the Congregation relinquished self –rule and respected the Pontifical authority over it. Subsequently the civil recognition with juridical persons came about with Decree of the President of the Republic on 27^th November 1951.

Their presence for more than two hundred years in the land where the Institute was born, urged them to express the missionary spirit of the Congregation. So they were sent to the Blessed land in the Philippines rich of religious expressions and in the manner they present themselves to the dear Filipino people.

STORIA DELLA CONGREGAZIONE

La Congregazione è stata fondata nel 1747 per ispirazione e volontà delle nobili sorelle AGATA e BEATRICE BENVIGNATI, native di Ripatransone, con l’intento di condividere l’amore di Cristo per la Chiesa, istruendo i giovani della parrocchia e riservando una particolare attenzione all’educazione delle giovani donne della Diocesi.

Il 10 dicembre 1747, S. E. Mons. Niccolò Recco, Vescovo della Diocesi di Ripatransone, esaminò e approvò le prime Regole e Costituzioni della Congregazione. In questa occasione avvenne la consacrazione delle prime sei religiose e la Congregazione ottenne l’approvazione iniziale come ISTITUTO di “diritto diocesano”.

Dopo circa duecento anni di attività, il 20 giugno 1947, l’allora Vescovo delle unite Diocesi di Montalto e Ripatransone, S. E. Mons. Pietro Ossola, presentò richiesta alla Sacra Congregazione per i Religiosi affinché l’Istituto venisse riconosciuto di “diritto pontificio”. La Sacra Congregazione dei Religiosi, con Lettera del 16 ottobre 1947, concesse tale riconoscimento. Successivamente, avvenne il riconoscimento civile della “personalità giuridica” con Decreto del Presidente della Repubblica, in data 27 novembre 1951.

La presenza delle suore per più di duecento anni nella terra dove è nato l’Istituto, le ha incoraggiate a esprimere lo spirito missionario della loro Congregazione. Così, sono state inviate due suore nella terra benedetta delle Filippine.
